Bruce Conybeare

Realtor, Business Partner and Team Leader of The Elizabeth Brien Team

Elizabeth and I have been business partners since 2002. Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a Buyer’s agent, counseled Sellers, worked with all clients on shepherding transactions through closing, including anticipating, resolving and drafting documents for hurdles that arise, and shared leadership of the Brien Team with Elizabeth.

Now that our Team has grown and matured, my primary focus has shifted to a leadership role. I continue to shepherd transactions to close, and actively educate, counsel and assist our Team of agents and administrative staff.

Prior to becoming Elizabeth's business partner, I practiced real estate law for nearly 20 years after receiving a BA from the University of Michigan and law degree from the University of Detroit.

Elizabeth and I married in 2001 and together have 4 adult children and 1 grandchild.


Peggy Carroll

Listing & Buyer Specialist with the Elizabeth Brien Team since 2003

Peggy Carroll has been a listing and buyer specialist with the Elizabeth Brien Team since 2003. She is experienced in residential property sales, new construction, condominium sales, investment properties, as well as country/farm properties.

Peggy has lived in Ann Arbor since 1987 and holds an MBA in marketing from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. From 1997 through 2008, Peggy bought and sold properties as part of her investment property business. She is also experienced in condominium ownership in northern Michigan.

Peggy’s passion is helping clients find that very special property – or helping to prepare and sell their current property so that they can move onto the next stage. Many of her new business opportunities come from referrals: past clients and community members with whom she has built relationships over the years. Peggy enjoys working with first-time buyers and educating them about the home-buying process. She is also interested in helping clients understand the value of real estate as an integral part of their total financial portfolio.

In addition to real estate, Peggy enjoys theater, music, Big 10 football, reading, and involvement in community organizations. Some of the organizations which have benefited from her leadership are AAUW, League of Women Voters, and Soundings: A Center for Women.


Nancy Arnold

Buyer’s Specialist with the Elizabeth Brien Team

I came to the Ann Arbor area in 1997 and possess a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and have spent 20 years in the health and fitness field.

I was employed as the Athletic Trainer at both Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and Canton High School and as a Personal Trainer at a Liberty Athletic Club. I met Elizabeth Brien at Liberty and after many conversations about real estate and a real estate career I joined her team.

My steadfast dedication, knowledge and attention to detail allow me to deliver excellent customer service to my clients.

My husband Jim and I have been married for 17 years.



Gina Walsh

Buyer’s Specialist with the Elizabeth Brien Team

Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I moved to Ann Arbor in 1984 and never left!  My career began in health care as a Respiratory Care Specialist for the University of Michigan hospitals, primarily focused in the Pediatric ICU at Mott Children’s Hospital.  After 13 years, I moved into the role of domestic engineer for our growing family. 

Throughout my time in Ann Arbor I have lived in every corner of the city; 10 different locations over the past 38 years so I know the city and its surroundings well.  Together with my husband, we’ve owned 3 different properties, both new and old, with minor and major renovations in all 3.  I have always had a passion for the housing market in Ann Arbor, and look forward to helping my clients find the perfect fit for them. 

I worked with Elizabeth and her team in selling our family home of 20 years, while at the same time purchasing the perfect condo for us.  I learned so much through that process of buying and selling, and with a bit of nudging from her team, decided to join them in the real estate world.

Rachel Howard

Licensed Office Manager with the Elizabeth Brien Team since 2012

I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I received my real estate license in 2017 to utilize and further my skills with the team. My husband Marcel and I have been married since 2012 and welcomed our son, Mason, in 2014 and our second son, Hayden, in 2020
